💡How to set up your first Portal Admin user in Prophix One

 

Question

Upon receiving the access email to your Prophix One Portal Account, you are now able to set up your first admin user at Portal level.

The guide below includes all the steps to set up the user and authentication.

 

Answer

1 - Start by accessing the application using the URL provide in the email received by Prophix Support and click on Forgot Password?

2 - Type your admin email on the email field and click submit to receive an email to set your password.

Note: Please make sure the admin email you are using is the same as the one provided via the email sent to you by Prophix Support as that user has been set up as the first admin for your account.

 

3 - You should receive an email looking like the below. Click on Link to reset credentials.

4 - Since this is your first login, you will first need to set up your mobile authenticator application in order to continue. You can either set this up using your preferred mobile authenticator or use the links presented to download Google Authenticator. Follow the instructions provided and enter the one-time code provided on the field presented on step 3 and click Submit.

5 - Write and confirm your password on the fields provided and click Continue

6 - You will now need to verify the email address to activate your account.
Access your email and click on Link to Email Address Verification.

7 - Assuming all steps above completed successfully, upon clicking the link you should have been redirected to your Prophix One Portal Dashboard.

 

8 - In order to fully complete setting up your user, please you will need to convert your admin user into Global Admin.
Navigate to Account Management - Account Information

9 - Select the Primary Contact user:

10 - Change the main admin user to be Global Admin
